The other day our class was given an assignment. The assignment was to- in our groups of four- pick our favorite ted talk at ted.com and present our video in front of the class. Now we have a new assignment! We are all writing blogs about one of the other groups' video! One of my favorites was by Shane Koyczan.
Shane was bullied as a kid through most of grade school and high school. After suffering from this for a lot of his life, Shane decided to become a motivational speaker. This is what he talks about (click the button to see)

Shane adds a bit of humor to his talk in the beginning but then he slowly becomes more serious. He then starts to read a paragraph that he wrote and includes an animation in the background while Hannah Epperson plays the violin in the background. The violin makes it even more emotional. Watch the video if you haven't already, it's truly inspiring.
